2009 and Starting Over

I am starting to blog again. I want a record for the kids. I have more recent posts over at my other blog but this one is nice if I try to focus on just the kids. The other blog will be more general updates about our family, me, etc. This will be my KID blog. So, the kids. Bret is a 4th grader with a love of sports, friends, baseball and football cards, video games (Wii, DS), and small monster action figures. He loves to collect things like coins, sports cards, small toys, really anything he likes. He is serious in many ways, gets anxious if he thinks he will be late for anything, and likes to please. He LOVES to play with friends, he would do it 24/7 if I let him. He does well in school but doesn't like homework. He hates to cut his hair. He has glasses. He wears a size 3 shoe and size 8 clothes. He doesn't like to wear jeans. He gets too many cavities and hates the feeling of novacaine. He has the best smile with dimples. He still gives me kisses and hugs as long as no one is looking or around. He likes cable TV and gets mad that we don't have it. He can ride his red Razor scooter very fast, so fast it scares me to watch him. He jams his fingers often playing football. He got ringworm this past summer from wrestling (yuck). He likes sleeping with stuffed animals and with his blanket wrapped all around his hed. His favorite color is read. His favorite food is pancakes. His nickname is "B" and "Radical".

Jenna is in 2nd grade and also loves to play with her friends, dolls, stuffed animals, purses, her DS, and writing in notebooks. Jenna has more purses and notebooks than anyone I've known. She got her first American Girl Chrissa in July for her 7th birthday. She actually still likes homework. She cut her long hair off last year and loves it short. She loves to wear jeans, only jeans every day. She wears a size 13 shoe and size 6 clothes. She has no cavities yet. She never passes her hearing tests. She does not wear glasses but wishes she could. She had fake glasses but lost them. She loves the TV show Arthur on PBS. She is pokey in the morning and doesn't mind being late. Her favorite food is oreos and poptarts. Her favorite color is still blue! She follows me around and I call her "my little shadow". Her nickname is "Beans" and "Jenockquateem" (don't ask her dad came up with that one).
